Homemade Pedialyte

Hey Mommy friends!! I don't know about your little ones, but Olivia goes through pedialyte like it is nobodys business! And as many of you may be introducing your little guys or girls to new foods daily, potty issues may occur. Pedialyte is EXPENSIVE!! I have found a great recipe for the cheap at home version that you can put in your used pedialyte or milk jugs! It is good in the fridge for 3 days! FYI Most pedialyte is only good for 48 hours!
Ingredients
2 QUARTS WATER
1 TSP.BAKING SODA
1 TSP. SALT
7 TBSP. SUGAR
*1 PK OF Unsweetened KOOL-AID (ANY FLAVOR)
(you may use pre sweetened Kool Aid, but leave out 7 tbls of sugar in this instance)
Directions
BRING WATER TO BOIL
STIR IN BAKING SODA, SALT, AND SUGAR
UNTIL DISSOLVED
ADD KOOL-AID FOR TASTE AND COLOR
KOOL-AID IS OPTIONAL
LET IT COOL
STORE UNUSED PORTIONS IN FRIDGE
